Information about the panelists 

  • Chaired by: Tracey Lazard (Inclusion London CEO)/Michelle Daley (ALLFIE Director)
  • Yewande Omoniyi (ALLFIE): ALLFIE office volunteer and DBLM member. Been involved with ALLFIE since 2010 and passionate about amplifying Young Disabled women’s and girls voices within the disability rights movement.
  • Tasnim Hassan (ALLFIE): ALLFIE trustee and DBLM co-chair. Actively involved within the Disabled student’s movement locally and nationally, where she has spoken up for ignored and erased voices. Passionate about representing the intersect of disability, gender and race within her work.
  • Thiandi Grooff (Quiet Riot): Member of Quite Riot. International Disability Rights activist and Campaigner and studying for a master’s in law
  • Ruth Bashall (Stay Safe East): Campaigner and activist for over 30 years. Ruth is the Director of Stay Safe East, an organisation that works with Disabled survivors of abuse, domestic and sexual violence, hate crime and other human rights abuses.
  • Eleanor Lisney (Sista of Frida): Eleanor is one of the co-founders of Sisters of Frida and active campaigner on equal rights for Disabled women and girls. Eleanor is also the co-founder of Culture Access and the social media moderator for the Interational Network of Disabled Women

Entertainment:

  • Dennis Queen: Queer Disabled activist and songwriter with over 20 years’ experience in UK Disabled People’s Movement. Songs about fighting back and creating social change.
