Capacity Building and Development
One of the main aims of our organisation is to build the capacity of the Inclusive Education movement to become a more effective voice of influence.
Our capacity building work takes the shape of two key projects: ‘Our Voice’ and ‘Stronger Voices’.
‘Our Voice’ Project
ALLFIE feels Young Disabled people’s voices have been ignored. ‘Our Voice’ is a national participation project designed to amplify their voices, and address the erasure of Young people’s education experiences from the national education narrative.
Building Stronger Voices
ALLFIE’s ‘Stronger Voices’ project aims to build capacity in the Disabled People’s movement, as well as to challenge structural oppression such as poverty, ableism, racism and sexism.
Inclusion Champions
Our previous project worked with Disabled People’s Organisations: Inclusion Champions Network.
