Autumn 2025 (High Res)

20 November 2025

Autumn 2025 (High Res)

A bright cartoon from crippencartoons.com titled ‘ALLFIE & The Coalition for Inclusive Education’. Panel 1: Two friends are talking about Inclusive Education. A man wearing red says “ALLFIE supports the Coalition for Inclusive Education”. His friend replies “And together we have a vision and a proposal for an inclusive Education Act”, she is wearing a blue shirt and sat in a red wheelchair. Panel 2: A person with short red hair, a yellow shirt and purple-tinted glasses asks, “But what about the government’s education white paper?” Panel 3: Four more characters from across the disability movement contribute to the conversation. An older man wearing a dark blue jumper and red hearing aids says, “Would that be the white paper that we’ve not been consulted about?!”. A younger person replies “Yes – we’ve had workshops and discussions about making inclusive education a reality in the UK…” she has bright blue hair, green shorts and a green shirt with the earth on it. “… Creating a system that supports ALL students – equipping them as citizens” says a man with a moustache in a blue motorised wheelchair to a blond person, who is shorter than the other characters. Panel 4: The woman in the red wheelchair says “We’ve identified some of the underlaying systemic barriers … exposing marginalisation and discrimination” she’s holding a golden list of ‘Key Points’ which reads “– A right to inclusive education. – Train and employ more disabled teachers. – Phase out all non-inclusion education. – Enable full access.” Panel 5: The man in the red jumper speaks to the man wearing hearing aids and says, “Even though successive governments have not only ignored us with our lived experiences…” Panel 6: “They are still ignoring the UN’s Article 24 of the UNCRPD which provides an actual framework for inclusive education!” adds the man with a moustache as he gestures to the woman wearing purple-tinted glasses. The woman in the red wheelchair asks, “I wonder what young disabled people think about that?!”
