The Inclusion Assistant
Are you responsible for training or supporting Teacher Assistants who work with young people with support needs in mainstream nurseries, schools and higher or further education?This one day course will enable you to deliver a new TRAINING PACK, ‘The Inclusion Assistant’, devised and developed by Micheline Mason and Christine Burke. The training pack is unique in that it draws from the perspective of disabled adults and the Independent Living Movement, helping to create a pathway from school to a supported adult life, in the community, for people who will continue to need one to one assistance throughout their lives. Based on original research with young disabled people and their families, the pack has been trialled with great success in mainstream schools in East London.

It costs £320* per person and includes a FREE copy of the Inclusion
Assistant Training Pack - 140 pages covering nine training modules. Institutions
who wish to send more than one person only pay £250 per extra person
but this does not include a pack.
